Why Education Matters

We believe health starts long before illness. In fact, it actually starts in our homes, schools and jobs. Experiencing access barriers to high school, development or trainings that could help someone gain consistent employment is a common cause for health deterioration.

Some contributing factors include:

  • Early childhood development
  • High school graduation
  • Enrollment in higher education
  • Language and literacy
